This assessment provides an opportunity for you to choose a case study to present.

The assessment is the culmination of the research and analysis of the topic and development of recommendations and professional writing. It also provides you with the opportunity to showcase your individual skills.

Purpose


The purpose of this assessment task is to:

  • Provide further experience in presentation
  • Expand creative skills to exercise critical thinking and judgement in identifying and solving problems with intellectual independence
  • Provide a milestone for the project

Assessment Structure


You will create a presentation and poster about a particular case study of an international or transnational crime or harm. You will use the previous assessments and your own research to include reputable sources, theory and responses to analyse the case.

This assessment is broken into 2 parts:

  • Poster (academic)
  • Presentation (3-5 minutes)

Instructions


The assessment parts should be completed in the order below

  1. Firstly, you will create an academic poster via Powerpoint or Word. Poster will include case details, crime type, theoretical considerations and images to support the work thereof. More details will be given on this process within the class.       
  2. Next, you will present your Poster and case study via a recorded presentation. The presentation will be 3 – 5 minutes long.
